Getting to know the Costa Rica area may be a really good idea for an optimal vacation experience in a beautiful country with lots of great food and outdoor activities to partake in.  Central America is known for its close proximity to the beaches in two directions and serious surfers take to the waves in the beautiful surf and quiet beach countryside.

Costa Rica is in Central America and it boarders Nicaragua to the North, Panama to the Southeast, The Pacific Ocean is to the West and The Caribbean Sea is to the East.  Flying from Washington D.C. to San Jose airport is roughly 300$ one way.

I heard about his great hotel on the beach of Costa Rica called El Rancho Coral. And it offers many amenities to choose from.  Take surfing lessons there at the facility and get a complete and total body workout while enjoying the sun and water in this luxurious country. Tommy Bernsdorf is the owner of this hotel, and a genuinely nice guy as well.

The Hotel Rancho Coral offers double rooms which may accommodate one to two persons at a price of 75$ per night.  The beach front villas can accommodate two to three persons and they are available at 130$ per night.  The Garden View villas may accommodate three to four persons per night and they are available at 120$ per night.

This Hotel is ranked number one of all the Esterillos Oeste Bed and Breakfast and Inns in that area.  Out of twenty-six reviews on trip advisor twenty five reviewed the hotel as excellent.  For reservation information please call (506) 2778-8647 or email reservations@ranchocoral.com.

Amenities include room service, suites, free high speed internet, kitchenettes in the rooms; pets are welcome in the rooms, on site restaurant, free parking, sandy beaches, great surf, and beautiful scenery in all directions, quiet beaches, surfing lessons and a surfing pro shop, raw nature surrounds the beautiful hotel in every direction, the owners speak fluent English and Spanish.

Average temperatures in January, February and March all range in the 80 degree Fahrenheit range.  There is also only about two inches of rain that is expected to fall during those winter months.

According to trip advisor The Travelers choice 2013 winner destination was the award winning Tamarindo vacations in Costa Rica for its amazing shopping, variety of restaurants and beautiful paradise of beaches.  Vacation rentals average about seventy-one American dollars per night.  There are many great award winning shopping, food and beverage items and several outdoor activities to become involved in.

If Surfing is not your thing, you can always get some time in the sun and swim in the award winning beaches of Costa Rica.  There are many new cuisines to attempt and try.  The most common dish available in Costa Rica is a plate of Rice and Beans with other ingredients such as fish or chicken.  The prices for such food are rather cheap.

The Manuel Antonio Park is considered one of the most beautiful parks on Costa Rica and it is very easy to plan a day trip to this park for children and other tourists who are not surfing for the day.

Consider visiting the Arenal Volcano and Tabocon hot springs also another legendary Costa Rica park where one may relax in the soothing hot springs waters while observing the stars and the spectacular night sky above the volcano.

There is always horseback riding available in Costa Rica and make sure to study all your trip advisor options prior to arriving in Costa Rica.  This is a country that has so many activities to choose from that you should take a moment to really plan out a nice vacation for you and whomever you plan on traveling with.  These are award winning destinations so make sure you try to get it all in, and come back if you miss anything.  The prices a certainly worth the extra trip.
