Looking into some values at Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida there are so many places to stay how can anyone possibly choose the best vacation for their needs? Thank goodness for the internet, it provides a whole window into vacationland. With pictures and prices and maps and wait lines for all the rides all you need is a cellphone and an internet connection to navigate through Disney World.
I just spoke to Rebecca R. Cohen about her recent trip to Disney World with her husband and this is what she had to say,” We stayed at Disney Pop Century a value resort for the price, it cost $ 600.00 for six beautiful nights at this wonderfully priced value packed hotel. We had a fabulous dinner at the exquisite and exclusive Victoria and Albert’s restaurant located at The Grand Floridian Hotel. The dinner was $500.00 but it was worth every penny. The meal is a six course pre-fixed meal that you pretty much have no control over. Our entrée was a Japanese lavate beef and it was possibly the best meal I have ever eaten. Dessert was this incredible white chocolate gelato that was simply divine. They serve coffee in a very unusual carafe or contraption at this establishment, it is a once in a lifetime experience to eat there, we would definitely return for another visit.”
Amenities at Disney’s Pop Century Resort include a basic standard room with two double beds. There is a free airport shuttle available 24 hours a day to get you to and from the airport. The property is located three miles from the world famous Epcot Center. The Pop Century resort is a tribute to 20th century pop culture. The property amenities include jukeboxes, three swimming pools, an arcade, and a food court. There are 2880 guest rooms in this gigantic resort each room depicting life in the 1950’s to the 1990’s as part of their theme.
Rebecca R. Cohen is the author of the “Midnight to Sunrise” vampire series genre novels. Her second book has just been released it is called “Darkness in Between” and she is busy working on the third installation of the series. This is her third or fourth trip to Orlando to stay at Disney World, so she is becoming quite an expert on traveling to Orlando. She is also very familiar with The Disneyworld theme park and how to beat her fear of flying that short flight from New York To Orlando which is about a two hour flight. Fear of flying can be a debilitating process and keep you from experiencing so much the world has to offer. There are medications and therapy to help you beat your fear of flying.
There are other methods to travel from New York to Orlando, such as the train or a car, but you really waste so much time and energy for what is only a short airplane ride.
Rebecca also had some more to dish about another great restaurant,” The prime time café in Hollywood Studios is a throwback to life in the 1950’s. It is like being transported back in time to the 1950’s to dine with a family from this time period. If you do not finish your entire meal you will be thoroughly scolded.”
Sounds like a wonderful stay at a wonderful resort and theme park. I hope to spend more of the Winter in Florida where it is in the 70’s and not snowing.
